Trip to the Butterfly Garden
Mommy, Madeline spent a few days up in Purdys. We had lots of fun, especially at the Butterfly Garden. I was able to get a butterfly to land on my "gatorade lollipop", and one even landed on Madeline's shoulder! After that, we went to the Red Rooster for burgers and ice cream - a fun June outting on a rare non-rainy day.

Gabi is Back With her new sister Madeline Grace! We figure the name of the blog will need to change, in due time. Mommy swore she wouldn't fall into that trap of taking less photos of the second baby, but alas it has happened. However, it's not quantity but quality and we have plenty of beauties of our little Maddy Girl. Now we just have to find time to get them up here! So, here's introducing Madeline...

Gabi got a REAL Madeline...

forts!
the snow was a little too powdery to get nice packed walls, but we tried the best we could to build a nice fort out in the yard. every morning i go check out our work before i head off to school. we'll see how long it lasts, i'd love to keep it forever, but if it gets super warm this wknd and i can ride my bike, i think i'll be ok with a melted fort.

project!
daddy and i are slowly creeping through the alphabet, making letters out of wood. started with an "m", then an "a", i wanted to make a "j". of course, i wanted to make it for my friend jaya. and then mumbled "oh yeah, and daddy that's for jeff too". i draw the letter, and i do some of the cutting, and then i do the sanding...
