the zoo!
gramma and grampa came to visit this weekend, and uncle chris too! so we all went to the zoo on saturday, they even had a train, we took a ride around the park in a train together, choo choo!

poor daddy
although i rarely have much interest in television, monday night i was pretty into dora. mommy let me eat dinner in front of the tv for a special occasion! it was crazy fun! but at 7:05 daddy started getting antsy. he finally asked if we could share the tv and watch together. i gave him half...

yay red sox!
i don't know what daddy's deal is here with the weird face, but boy did we have fun rooting for the red sox last night. go yooooukalis!

hide and "hey, here I am!"
i LOVE hide and go seek. LOVE it. here i am with betsy, we're totally hidden in my roller coaster from daddy while he and i played hide & go seek this weekend... i have so many good spots.

cup on the head for apple juice
if you want water you put your cup on your shoulder, if you want apple juice cup goes on your head. of course, when you have your party hat on, that doesn't leave much room for cup placement... i'm seriously the most patient chick on the planet. i was the absolute LAST kid to get their juice. and unlike daddy, i waited and waited and appreciated my juice whenever it arrived.

party's rule
i've already gotten to go to TWO birthday parties in the last few weeks! we're not talking boring parties either, we're talking kick-butt parties at indoor playgrounds that would make your head spin. this shot is from the third floor of a ridiculous tunnel/slide playground... yes, third floor!

spring planting!
in a effort to get a little jump on spring, daddy and i planted herbs today inside. we made a little pot, made holes, put seeds in each of the holes, and then we watered them. daddy says they should grow well pretty soon and we'll see sprouting...

my tuck
did you know that you can gain nearly 6 seconds per mile by utilizing a correct aero tuck position? daddy's new bike doesn't quite fit me perfect yet, but he was mumbling some stuff carbon blah blah, and all to mommy. i wanted a shot, so i jumped on, i can see myself on a sweet ride like this some day...

The Easter Bunny Came to Purdys!

We had so much fun decorating Easter eggs on Saturday. Then on Sunday, I got to find all the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid around the house. THEN, Carson came over and we hunted for eggs outside together. It was so much fun having my kissin-cousin to share the fun with!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Mommy and I made green cupcakes for my school St Patrick's Day Party and I got to do the sprinkles all by myself. I made sure each and every sprinkle was in the most perfect place. Tonight all my friends are coming over to my house for a big Irish dinner... I sure love a party so today is my kind of day!

breakfast by the fire
agh! no electricity? i've heard tales of this through gegee and poppy, but when we got home saturday night there was no lights! and no heat... then when we got up sunday morning there was still no power. daddy made a big fire in the fireplace and we dressed warm for breakfast.

dress-up time!
daddy's not doin' such a good job of "keeping me off the pole". not even three years old and i'm already rocking high heels and skirts...

bowling!
yeah, the ball is a bit heavy, and i actually preferred to "kick" it. but with a little help, i got it down the alley... what a hoot to watch it, sometimes i got a lot of pins, and i almost beat daddy!

family time!
uncle greggie's home! uncle timmy came to visit! all at gegee and poppy's house! we spent the day sledding, and making snowmen, and just having fun! we made a snowman named "ruby" (yes, i named him) and he was SO tall i needed help just to put in his buttons and carrot nose.

art projects
i LOVE doing art projects... construction paper, markers, glue sticks... daddy and i went to the craft store and bought pom poms, and stickers, ad sticks, and we made puppets with the paper on sticks. then we gave mommy a puppet show...

my kick-a$$ room
slowly mom & dad been working on my bedroom. getting there... really starting to be awesome. new carpet this past weekend, i think all that's left is filling up some of the blank wall space.

snow is fun. runny noses aren't.
but hey, what can you do? FINALLY! Some snow... Uncle Chris's blog did it! He made it snow with the reverse jinx! Snow is so awesome, daddy and i went sledding tonight, i made it one trip down the big hill before I wanted to go home because I was cold... :-)

whoooaaa!
in florida, aunt ree ree and i went out by the water at lunch and saw all these birdies. this one was crazy and making faces i thought it was gonna eat me! so i made faces too!

brady to moss for the win!
or so we thought... i stayed up late sunday night to watch the super bowl. all night i was yelling "go patriots!" (normally when i yell daddy asks me to be quiet, but not this time). Late in the 4th quarter Brady connected w. Moss in the end zone for a magical touchdown! Only to then be topped by an even more magical touchdown two minutes later when Eli connected w. Plax. It broke my heart but daddy said that Uncle Greggie was happy so that made it ok. Daddy said sometimes your favorite team can't always win. He tried to tell me that the Red Sox used to lose all the time. He's so silly, the Red Sox always win. At least in my lifetime.

breadmaking with grampa!
last friday grampa came down to spend the day with me. grampa is kind of a wiz at breadmaking, he can make all kinds of bread and stuff. he offered to shed some of his wizdom on me, how could i say no? mommy and daddy were pretty psyched to come home and have to fresh-baked loaves of bread too... nice.

getting toys
despite all the shelves and crates and stuff mommy and daddy use to sort my toys, sometimes there's no way to get the good ones without diving in. if you look close, you can also see the toyota mini van keys I used to open the chest still in the keyhole.

daddy whipped this bad boy up for me as part of my room re-model. this is sort of a sneak peek as the room is still "in-progress".

this is jaden and i swinging. on swings, duh... daddy says that if I'm swinging, he hopes there's always a swing and a town park involved in the future

airplane ride!
i've been on an airplane before, but i don't really remember it. we got up at 4am this morning so we could catch an early flight to florida. i was such a good girl, and so excited to be on a plane. i was all fired up, i loved looking out the window, and i really enjoyed the takeoff. i enjoyed it all so much, really, that i was asleep ten minutes after takeoff... zzz...

i'm starting to enjoy dress-up, and also starting to enjoy ballet and dancing too... really fun. daddy and i stand on one foot and put the other foot in the air just like ballerinas. daddy isn't such a good ballerina, but he tries.

baby evan
finally! i got to go see baby evan. what a cutie... dude has his father's appetite, eats all the time. i didn't really get to hold him, but i noticed that baby evan has no teeth.

boots
uncle greggie gave me these kick-a$$ boots... he probably doesn't even realize how often i wear them, especially lately, i keep asking for them. and daddy loves this outfit, he's such a sucker for chicks in argyle.

future triathlete
got me cool-a$$ shirt, got my water bottle, and dad said i would need at least one "gu" today for my first triathlon... three events, roller coaster, playing with dollies, then for the big finale, i ate more snackies...

never-ending roller coaster fun...
"I love my roller coaster!" is what i like to yell... it's great... i roll all the way from the front of the house to the back, across the dining room, sometimes i even make it to the kitchen. and i love taking mommy and daddy for rides...

i got a lot of cool things, a new dolly, an apron to match mommy's, a doctors kit, a toaster, even a ROLLER COASTER! mommy and i are so awesome at making cookies. and i'm really really good at EATING them too... we team up to make the cookies, mommy frosts them, i put on the sprinkles, then i EAT them!

cold new england winters are tough
ok, we don't live in new england. not even that close. but i look sick in my tom brady jersey (even tho it's pink) and i also look pretty GQ in my fuzzy coat and ear flap hat. so check me out and enjoy my awesomeness.

christmas tree shopping!
we went to get our christmas tree this weekend and i wanted to make sure the tops of the trees were perfect. so i went "up high" on daddy's shoulders. from this height is could almost see the middle of the tree.

dress up
i got new "new" clothes, hand-me-downs... and mommy and i were going through them all, i wanted to wear them ALL! this is me in a shawl and my pink blinky boots.

Get Home Safe Mommy!
Mommy flew to Rochester today... i miss her, but she comes home tonight. I can't wait to see her...

holiday's are tough on gals like me
this time of year we make a lot of trips and we get a lot of visitors at our house. grani and poppie came by last weekend and i was playing so hard with them and all my friends that i only made it through one book before my eyes got a little droopy and i... zzz ...zz ..zz....
