christmas tree shopping!
we went to get our christmas tree this weekend and i wanted to make sure the tops of the trees were perfect. so i went "up high" on daddy's shoulders. from this height is could almost see the middle of the tree.

i got new "new" clothes, hand-me-downs... and mommy and i were going through them all, i wanted to wear them ALL! this is me in a shawl and my pink blinky boots.

Get Home Safe Mommy!
Mommy flew to Rochester today... i miss her, but she comes home tonight. I can't wait to see her...

holiday's are tough on gals like me
this time of year we make a lot of trips and we get a lot of visitors at our house. grani and poppie came by last weekend and i was playing so hard with them and all my friends that i only made it through one book before my eyes got a little droopy and i... zzz ...zz ..zz....

cuckoo, cuckoo
at gamma and gampa's they have a clock and it has a little bird that pops out and goes "cuckoo, cuckoo" again and again. i saw it cuckoo twelve times! way cool.

Getting in the Holiday Spirit!
This weekend was the Boonton Christmas Parade. It was mighty cold out, so we bundled up and walked down the hill (well I got to ride in the wagon) and then we watched everybody march down to Santaland. The grand finale was Santa himself! I can't believe I got to see him! But even better... Mommy and Daddy let me have a candy cane... now that is a Christmas Miracle!

what a great day for a hike... mommy and daddy took me over to the "tourne" trails and we hiked up to the very tippy top of the mountain all together, mommy, daddy, gabi... then, at the end, we went to the playground and i got to play. and mommy went down the slide with me, too.

doctor gabi
mommy loves watching "ER" and "house" on tv. and i think i'm a pretty good doctor too. i keep my patients calm and i try to ensure they are comfortable during treatment.

on thanksgiving, i was reminded of how thankful i am there's cool games like 'candyland' and cool people like Gigi and gamma to play it with!

A November Winter Wonderland!
Today I woke up in my big girl bed and Mommy brought me to the window for a surprise. I didn't know what to think. I asked her "What's with the sand?" She told me, that's snow. SNOW?!??!!! I started smiling so big and then I sat in front of the big front window watching the flakes fall. The whole world looked different. I saw "holes" and mommy said they were footprints in the snow. So then I went outside and made my own footprints and said "that's gabi" as I turned around and walked through the yard. Daddy and I built a quick Mr Potato Head Snowman - wow this is gonna be a fun winter!

It was the bestest morning! Mommy was glowing and said it's just amazing living life all over through me.

my first haircut!
yup! after last night's photo of me and gampa, we decided it was time to ge tmy heiney to a little salon to get my dome trimmed. first time ever... i was a total doll. thought it was pretty fun, really. got a bow at the end, and a lollipop. any day with a lollipop can't be too bad.

gampa and gamma were here and saturday night, gampa and i used this game on the 'puter from the bronx zoo where you make your own animal... i named mine gabi! and i gave it crazy hair in dire need of a trim (for a reason :-))

big girl bed
i've been sleeping in the guest room lately, in the double bed there... so mommy and daddy finally decided it was time to take the railing off my crib and turn it into a big girl bed... now i sleep in a big girl bed EVERY night!

happy birthday to mommy!
Last week was mommy's birthday... awesome, you get cupcakes, you blow out candles, then you EAT! Or in my case, as you can see here, i got things a little out of order... frosting on my lips as we're blowing out mommy's candle...

Last weekend my buddies Jaden and Tayla came over for a play date and we had soooo much fun playing games and toys and dress-up. Not that you could tell from my face how much fun I have!

polka dot sockies!
this weekend, after my girl maggie and i got ready for bed, we realized we both had polka dots socks! the only socks better than polka dots are red ones (wink wink daddy). how awesome are we? um, way awesome.

i touched a starfish!
mommy and gee gee took a girls weekend up in mystic, connecticut this weekend. saturday we went up to the aquarium and saw sea lions, and fishies. and a starfish that i got to touch... eek! that felt funny...
