Rudolph and her Rudolph Cupcakes


Mommy and Gabi made Rudolph cupcakes for the class Christmas party. They came out so cute! Of course Gabi decided she had to dress like Rudolph for the party... what fun!

sledding! snowmen! freezing!
well, today's a little ridiculous, like cold as a witches nose. but we had a great weekend... i had so much fun sledding at the tiny hill at the graveyard, mommy and daddy took me over to the tourne park, and we really hit it. snow flew in my face, i blew it away and said "more!". really had fun out there...

Snow Angels

Finally, enough snow to make some snow angels and have fun with my friends outside! I've been waiting and waiting and my wish finally came true. Now I'm just hoping that the snow sticks around long enough tomorrow for some sledding!

my list
apparently santa can tell whether we've been naughty or nice, but we have to specify and document our gift choices on paper so he knows what we want. i took the time tonight to do so, looks like a pretty long list, huh?

i wanted to wear my antlers and rudlph nose to school today to surprise my teachers... i waltzed into the room and announced to all "i'm dressed up like a reindeer today!"

well, actually, i get a quesadilla, but daddy gets a burrito. i LOVE quesadillas... and at the end i get an oatmeal cookie too. burp.

yeah, i was playing with dollies, having so much fun, then daddy came to play with me, next thing i know we're building things, what the...?

max and ruby...

ruby and max... love 'em. geegee gave me these this weekend, and they are my two favorites. this morning we played together then got ready for school together, i even gave them a ride on my roller coaster! then we brought them to school in the car, i think they need their own mittens, it's cold out these days... 

philadelphia

daddy had another race this weekend (surprise... what else is new?) this time it was in philadelphia. nice place to visit, we had a lot of fun... a wee bit on the cold side, but some cool places in that city...

and my bathing suit...  it's swimmy day at school... so i have my suit on. and i was pretty infatuated with my "long" hair this morning when i turned myself upside-down... 

Winter has arrived in New Jersey!


We haven't even been able to do our leaves yet here in Boonton, yet it's flurrying and freezing out! But I'm toasty warm, because I am dressed head to toe in warm stuff that my Gramma knit for me... a cool jingle-bell hat, a matching scarf, and the latest fashion trend - leg warmers! I am the luckiest little girl to have a Gramma who knits such pretty things for me!

ok, no tom brady, no adalius, no rodney, no maroney, i feel like we're missing half the team. no worries tho, all-in tonight, let's go patriots!

auntie alli!
i had not seen her in a long time, so it was awesome that auntie alli came to visit this weekend, we played so much, we did everything... and sunday we even took a spin on my scooter together..

ok, you're not going to believe this... but hear me out... ok, we walked around the neighborhood, we knocked on doors, and people came to the door and... GAVE ME CANDY! ok, so unbelievable, but so real, i swear. what a night. love me the halloween.

In an old house in boonton, with very few vines, lived one little girl, who walked in a straight line. she left the house, at half past nine, her name was... was... Gabi Jane :-)

Ballet Class Show
Today was the last ballet class of the session, so all the parents were invited to come watch the little ballerinas show off their graceful moves. Gabi paid careful attention the entire time and tried so hard to do all her positions. She was glowing with pride at the end of the class! Mommy and Daddy are REALLY feeling like the parents of a little girl now!

love the leaves!
(again, alliteration...) what fun i had... jumping in the leaves then i covered gramma, then jumped on her! we all raked and blew the leaves, and we jumped in them too.

camping is cool
(like that alliteration? pretty sweet, huh?) well i freaking love camping. so much that in the fall/winter i like to camp INSIDE. daddy and i loaded up my backpack with my flashlights, my camera, all kinds of stuff. then we read books in the tent with baby molly. way fun.

cake!
one of my best friends tayla had her birthday party tonight at her house. after we sat in endless traffic and wasted a ton of gas getting there, we finally had a blast! (she lives across the street, i'm kidding). i got a piece of cake with a rose! oh my goodness, more frosting than anyone should eat, i loved it!

ballet class
daddy came by the Y today at lunch to get in a swim... realized it was time for my ballet class so he checked it out (from the hallway, just looked through the door window). he called it "the cutest thing ever". me dancing around, following all the teachers instructions...

just cruisin' around the yard w. my boy jaden. he drives very safe, no worries, dad.

not into hugs
at daddy's race on sunday, he wanted a kiss or a hug when he came by on each of his loops. as you can see from the picture, i wasn't into it :-) was a beautiful day up in new paltz tho, warm, gorgeous fall day which was nice for the racers and spectators alike.

Big Sister Practice On Sunday, cousin Nicholas and Baby Elena came to visit. Nicholas and I had lots of fun together at the pumpkin farm and playing with toys back at our house. But I was most excited to hold Baby Elena - I talked about it for days! I also found her toys to play with and tried to teach her how to play with them. You see, I'm practicing to be a big sister!!! Mommy and Daddy say I'll be the best big sister, despite the fact that my little sibling will NEVER get a word in!

daddy and i made a camera out of a block of wood for me (yeah, i'm an easy audience, still). i was going to paint it silver like his camera but then i saw the can of pink paint... coolness! so tonight i painted my camera pink all by myself, should be dry by tomorrow morning!

go patriots!

the somerset patriots, that is! mommy and daddy's financial advisors invited us down to a minor league baseball game tonight. pretty cool, we saw their mascots walking around (i was afraid of them both), we talked to the players, and, oh yeah, we ate. burgers, hot dogs, i totally mowe'd the grub.

cow ride
ok, um, awesome... maggie and i took a few loops on the cow ride, these giant oil cans converted into cows, with wheels! oh what fun... i LOVE rides! someone tried to tell me i wasn't awesome, i was like "whatever".

ok, so mommy and daddy have a lot of cameras. uncle timmy has a lot too. mommy and daddy gave aunt calorin a bag that holds nothin' but cameras. i want IN on this "camera" thing. yesterday i used a block of wood, today i upgraded, daddy and i made one out of legos. "click!"

my bestest pal magoo!
she's the best! we went up to plymouth this weekend and sunday we even got to go out on the boat! yeah, a huge boat, with a big motor and stuff. maggie's daddy ethan drove the boat all the way to a restaurant, and on the way home daddy and ethan jumped out of the boat and went swimming... the water was cold! tho.

first day!
well, not me, it's mommy's first day at her new job! so to make her feel good, we took a picture together. she's gonna do so awesome, i hope she enjoys it!

big sis to-be
mommy and daddy told me big news this week... that mommy has a baby in her tummy and soon (sort of) i will be a big sister! i have embraced this news as i do with anything. love having fun having a "baby in my belly" myself! mommy said something about being sick and exhausted all the time tho, i dunno about that, i feel pretty good.

these days mommy's been pretty tuckered out. and me too. so we tend to grab a little snoozie whenever the opportunity presents itself.

or something like that. ok, so karma from a couple "eff you" TD's last season came back to bit my boy Brady in the behind. and he's now going to be watching the season from the sidelines (or his recliner). not cool. but we're strong and so are our pats... we're shooting for 12 wins, hoping for 10, but bottom line is let's beat the stinking J-E-T-S sunday!

First Day of School!

Today was my first day at my new school and I was so excited! Last night I picked out a special, new dress and Mommy gave me a new monkey backpack! This morning I got up early and got all ready, and even did my hair all by myself and put in 3 clips! When I got to school, I played dollies with my new teacher and waved bye bye to Mommy and Daddy, with a BIG smile on my face! I am going to love my new school!

ok, i know it's not totally normal, but once or twice a week, the local marching band comes around practicing right in front of our house! yeah, like we're cleaning the van and i hear "thump thump" of the base drum.... and trumpets coming from down the street "the marching band mommy! the marching band!"

my last day at school
some tears were shed, and it's gonna be tough to move on, but i'm looking forward to my new school. i will miss my friends, but also make new ones... and the cool part... i got gifts and they had a party for me!

i'm doin' pretty good with my swing. i hit the tee a lot but i tag the ball pretty good sometimes too. and i really have the swing down.

First Ballgame - a Day at Yankee Stadium!




What a day for a ballgame, and lots of action! I had so much fun cheering and peeling peanuts with Gegee, Poppy, Daddy and Mommy! I got myself a Yankee lunchbox and the Yanks won... what more could a girl ask for?!!! (editors note: daddy didn't cheer. he ate peanuts yes. cheering, no.)

my first wedding
this was one of mommy's cousins... it was pretty awesome. i've been playing wedding a lot lately. i have been married like seven times. it's so much fun i want to get married again. this is a picture of daddy and i after the wedding. i was hungry so he bought me some nutter butters.

school princess
daddy comes to pick me up from school and i didn't wanna go home... i'm a princess daddy! the best part was andrew. he was a princess too (see him on the left side in the background). he had on a football jersey, but i'm not sure that countered his ballerina skirt.

haircut
yup, my third haircut ever. mommy took me today to go get my locks clipped... then i sat in my favorite photo spot with my hair nicely combed... all purty.

big jeff
nope, not my daddy, he's not big. but the singer, big jeff, was at grace lord park tonight at the bottom of the hill. this is me (and other kids) wiggling like a worm on the ground... fun!

i heart madeline!
lived in a house covered with vines, she was the smallest one, her name was madeline! i have a bunch of dolls and it's my favorite book right now.

i was doin' stuff around the wet yard and mommy wanted me to put something on my feet. i went in the house and re-appeared wearing these bad boys... perfect.

i heart papelbon!
some folks around the metropolitan area just don't understand him. I hope everyone heard this part of his quote, where he said "I feel I owe a lot to this game and that's one of the things I owe to this game, to let an elder statesman go ahead of me." i think that says it all.

new scooter
yup, about time. every kid on the block had one already. daddy bought himself a ridiculous carbon fiber time trial bike. yet gabi still had no scooter... till now, got my own razor finally!

can't go wrong w. cake, huh? what a great party. my mom worked so hard to make a special day for me, and it was great. i'm so lucky to have such a good mom to do so much for me... thanks mom.
