Getting in the Holiday Spirit!
This weekend was the Boonton Christmas Parade. It was mighty cold out, so we bundled up and walked down the hill (well I got to ride in the wagon) and then we watched everybody march down to Santaland. The grand finale was Santa himself! I can't believe I got to see him! But even better... Mommy and Daddy let me have a candy cane... now that is a Christmas Miracle!

hiking
what a great day for a hike... mommy and daddy took me over to the "tourne" trails and we hiked up to the very tippy top of the mountain all together, mommy, daddy, gabi... then, at the end, we went to the playground and i got to play. and mommy went down the slide with me, too.

doctor gabi
mommy loves watching "ER" and "house" on tv. and i think i'm a pretty good doctor too. i keep my patients calm and i try to ensure they are comfortable during treatment.

on thanksgiving, i was reminded of how thankful i am there's cool games like 'candyland' and cool people like Gigi and gamma to play it with!

A November Winter Wonderland!
Today I woke up in my big girl bed and Mommy brought me to the window for a surprise. I didn't know what to think. I asked her "What's with the sand?" She told me, that's snow. SNOW?!??!!! I started smiling so big and then I sat in front of the big front window watching the flakes fall. The whole world looked different. I saw "holes" and mommy said they were footprints in the snow. So then I went outside and made my own footprints and said "that's gabi" as I turned around and walked through the yard. Daddy and I built a quick Mr Potato Head Snowman - wow this is gonna be a fun winter!

It was the bestest morning! Mommy was glowing and said it's just amazing living life all over through me.

my first haircut!
yup! after last night's photo of me and gampa, we decided it was time to ge tmy heiney to a little salon to get my dome trimmed. first time ever... i was a total doll. thought it was pretty fun, really. got a bow at the end, and a lollipop. any day with a lollipop can't be too bad.

gampa and gamma were here and saturday night, gampa and i used this game on the 'puter from the bronx zoo where you make your own animal... i named mine gabi! and i gave it crazy hair in dire need of a trim (for a reason :-))

big girl bed
i've been sleeping in the guest room lately, in the double bed there... so mommy and daddy finally decided it was time to take the railing off my crib and turn it into a big girl bed... now i sleep in a big girl bed EVERY night!

happy birthday to mommy!
Last week was mommy's birthday... awesome, you get cupcakes, you blow out candles, then you EAT! Or in my case, as you can see here, i got things a little out of order... frosting on my lips as we're blowing out mommy's candle...

Last weekend my buddies Jaden and Tayla came over for a play date and we had soooo much fun playing games and toys and dress-up. Not that you could tell from my face how much fun I have!

polka dot sockies!
this weekend, after my girl maggie and i got ready for bed, we realized we both had polka dots socks! the only socks better than polka dots are red ones (wink wink daddy). how awesome are we? um, way awesome.

i touched a starfish!
mommy and gee gee took a girls weekend up in mystic, connecticut this weekend. saturday we went up to the aquarium and saw sea lions, and fishies. and a starfish that i got to touch... eek! that felt funny...

now this is halloween!
i got candy! i just walked up to a house... blurted "trick or treat!" and bam, peeps gave me candy. how cool is that. marie, my bestest neighbor anyone could have, went out of her way and gave me "fishies" (pepperidge farm goldfish) too! she has to be the best ever, she knows i LOVE fishies!

i wanna be a cow...boy!
happy halloween everyone. daddy keeps saying i'm a cowgirl, but i keep telling him i'm a cowboy. uncle greggie gave me these kick-a$$ cowboy boots and hat, and i love wearing them. today at school is my halloween parade and tonight we'll go trick or treating at the neighbors and then go to the boonton halloween parade!

Today is Mommy's work Halloween party so she got dressed up in her bat costume, which was Cousin Julia's costume years ago but Mommy made it work. Tomorrow I am getting dressed up in my costume... I'm being a cowgirl and Daddy's being a cowboy! We're gonna be in the Boonton Halloween Parade. It's gonna be so much fun!

School Field Trip!
Big day today, I'm off to the farm with Miss Allison and my class for my very first field trip. We're going to the pumpkin patch and the best part is, we're going on a SCHOOL BUS! .I'm gonna go on a hay ride and get a "little pumpkin I can carry like a purse". It's raining, but we're not gonna let that get us down, I just used it as an excuse to use all my cool lady bug rain gear from Geegee. Hopefully my teachers will take some pictures of us on the bus that we can share with you all!

I love to do yoga with Mommy and Aunt Re Re, and mommy even lets me use her sticky mat. I know how to do all sorts of poses - down dog, happy baby pose, lion, cobra, plank, and lots more. Mommy gets jealous of my flexibility, although Daddy gets even more jealous of both of us!

elmo!
i think daddy's having more fun with pumpkins than anyone... one little lesson that he's already learning, too, is that pumkins don't last too long once you carve them... especially when it's 75 degrees in october.

daddy's first attempt at pumpkin carving. he was thinking of doing an elmo pumpkin for me, but this doesn't really look that much like elmo to me, i dunno...

now this is stylin'... i chill, i bring books, toys, whatever, and hang in the back while daddy does all the work. i think he even likes it... i really do...

This pumpkin is as big as me! Yesterday we went to a farm and I got to pick out little pumpkins and big pumpkins, and I ran around a hay maize which was so much fun! I love summer but fall is fun too!

big girl
i'm getting to be such a big girl, i do so many big girl things, here i'm playing with daddy and my friend jaden and we're riding scooters. i needed a little help from daddy, and we went crusing around marie's driveway on (my other friend) nathaniel's scooter... so much fun!

birthday
a ton of mommy's family members all have birthday's in the fall... so grani had a huge party for everyone all at once. the next morning there were still party hats everywhere, so mommy and i put them on and had our own party...

elmo's birthday party!
or maybe it was lulu's birthday. or molly's. who cares, we ate (see the little cards on the pizza tray?), we drank (note the juicy cups) and we were merry (check out all the smiles on everyone!).

cousins!
this was from a few weeks back... when we went up to geneva... anna and elizabeth taught me how to do gymnastics, how to gamble and play cards, and we tore the heck out of mommy and daddy's hotel room, bouncing everywhere... mommy, when can i play with elizabeth and anna again?!

daddy and i play in my sleeping bag, we get in it and walk around the house... he pulls it up so i'm hidden and we surprise mommy!

3-0 baby!
that's right, three games, three wins. my boy brady finally has some talent catching balls now and look at what he's doing with it. auntie allie has randy moss on her fantasy team and is kicking butt. who woulda thunk wes welker would be such a great pick up? no richard seymour and no rodney harrison and yet our D has been stifling, yippity-doodle.

as the summer comes to an end, that doesn't mean that camping season has to close... daddy set up my tent INSIDE for me! "We're go-in' cam-pin'!"

mommy and daddy had their anniversary a while back and to celebrate, mommy put on her big white dress that made her look so beautiful. to counter mommy's beauty, daddy dressed like WT and rolled up his sleeves like a dirtbag...

i don't have much use for my diapers anymore. it's a lot of work keeping baby lulu and baby molly clean. i have to change their diapers and clean them all the time.

well, not totally, but pretty cool, daddy set up my tent IN the house! we pretended to nap and i used his cell phone to call a few friends while he was dozing.

well, i don't know where these fellows came from, daddy called them his "old friends" but lets be realistic, the odds of daddy having friends have to fall somewhere between slim and none. so i haven't a clue who these two characters were...

mommy and daddy took me to something called "oktoberfest". all i know is that daddy drank beer (surprise) and that they played cool music we could dance to...

mommy and me made pizza for lunch, they are so tasty, and fun to make, too!

i am learning how to potty on the big girl potty. and i'm doing great with it. so good that i am helping lulu, molly, and baby betty learn too. they're a tad slow, we've had an accident or two, but everyone can't be as good as me...

mommy keeps trying to give me noodles, but finally tonight i was enough of a stinker that i got her to give me skettie! oh boy was it fun, so fun i almost needed another tubbie afterwards!

wineries
mommy and daddy and i took a trip up to the finger lakes for my great great aunt's 95th birthday party in geneva. we had so much fun, this one winery we visited had places inside where i could color in books, and outside they had a playground, daddy showed me all the grapes they make wine with and we toured the area... not as cool as drinking wine, but daddy said i had to wait nineteen years or something like that till i could try wine. seems like a long time, really...

jumping!
mommy went to a winery and left daddy and i at the hotel to swim and play. after i was done being crazy in the pool, we took the cushions off the couch at the hotel and i bounced around like a maniac all around the room. i learned gymnastics from my awesome cousins elizabeth and anna, and i was practicing some of the moves while mommy was away. when mommy see's this picture she's probably going to have a few words with daddy... probably about how awesome i am at jumping.

parade!
i am liking this parade thing... we brought my flag and i waved it and stuff, there were like a million firetrucks and i cheered for every one of them.

coolness
ok, raise your hand if you're the coolest freaking two-year-old on the planet... yes, that would be the chick up high on the elephant ride at the carnival friday night... um, me. (oh, and i let mommy in the pic with me too).

gardening
when we got back from camping, mommy and i had a lot of work to do in the garden. we got so much done, mommy slacked a bit but i pulled up the reigns and helped get what we needed done.
