daddy's race
daddy seems to like running. and he likes to run with people a lot. i like this race because it's on a lake and mommy likes it because instead of trophies they give daddy champagne for a prize...

so long story short, apparently mom and dad met at some track meet. apparently uncle timmy's track meet we went to on saturday was THAT meet. apparently without that track meet there wouldn't be me... so uncle timmy, thank you for your track meet :-)

Tinkerbell

Mommy went to Disney for work, and brought me back some treats from the boutique down there... my very own Tinkerbell purse, white dress-up gloves, and shoes. Oh no, not shoes they are "Tinkerbell Flip Flops"! I wore them to school and everyone thought they were sooo beautiful!!!! Don't worry, I brought my other shoes to change into because flip flops aren't safe for school.

yeah, so i have learned so much from my daddy about life, about this world, and, well, about relaxing. dude know's what's up, he's got this hammock out on the patio by the television. akid could really get into this, a little apple juice, some peanut butter crackers, a pillow...

dizzy!
oh i LOVE getting swung around... daddy did it first, by my feet, then gramma upped the anté and went for the one-arm, one-leg maneuver...
then i tried to walk :-)

my own yoga mat!
when gramma and grampa came this weekend they brought gifts! (surprise...) and gramma got me a new yoga mat! of my very own! then we sat down and did some yoga together, i am getting really good, no more of just doing "happy baby pose" i am learning so many more moves now...

the zoo!
gramma and grampa came to visit this weekend, and uncle chris too! so we all went to the zoo on saturday, they even had a train, we took a ride around the park in a train together, choo choo!

poor daddy
although i rarely have much interest in television, monday night i was pretty into dora. mommy let me eat dinner in front of the tv for a special occasion! it was crazy fun! but at 7:05 daddy started getting antsy. he finally asked if we could share the tv and watch together. i gave him half...

yay red sox!
i don't know what daddy's deal is here with the weird face, but boy did we have fun rooting for the red sox last night. go yooooukalis!

hide and "hey, here I am!"
i LOVE hide and go seek. LOVE it. here i am with betsy, we're totally hidden in my roller coaster from daddy while he and i played hide & go seek this weekend... i have so many good spots.

cup on the head for apple juice
if you want water you put your cup on your shoulder, if you want apple juice cup goes on your head. of course, when you have your party hat on, that doesn't leave much room for cup placement... i'm seriously the most patient chick on the planet. i was the absolute LAST kid to get their juice. and unlike daddy, i waited and waited and appreciated my juice whenever it arrived.

party's rule
i've already gotten to go to TWO birthday parties in the last few weeks! we're not talking boring parties either, we're talking kick-butt parties at indoor playgrounds that would make your head spin. this shot is from the third floor of a ridiculous tunnel/slide playground... yes, third floor!

spring planting!
in a effort to get a little jump on spring, daddy and i planted herbs today inside. we made a little pot, made holes, put seeds in each of the holes, and then we watered them. daddy says they should grow well pretty soon and we'll see sprouting...

my tuck
did you know that you can gain nearly 6 seconds per mile by utilizing a correct aero tuck position? daddy's new bike doesn't quite fit me perfect yet, but he was mumbling some stuff carbon blah blah, and all to mommy. i wanted a shot, so i jumped on, i can see myself on a sweet ride like this some day...

The Easter Bunny Came to Purdys!

We had so much fun decorating Easter eggs on Saturday. Then on Sunday, I got to find all the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid around the house. THEN, Carson came over and we hunted for eggs outside together. It was so much fun having my kissin-cousin to share the fun with!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Mommy and I made green cupcakes for my school St Patrick's Day Party and I got to do the sprinkles all by myself. I made sure each and every sprinkle was in the most perfect place. Tonight all my friends are coming over to my house for a big Irish dinner... I sure love a party so today is my kind of day!

breakfast by the fire
agh! no electricity? i've heard tales of this through gegee and poppy, but when we got home saturday night there was no lights! and no heat... then when we got up sunday morning there was still no power. daddy made a big fire in the fireplace and we dressed warm for breakfast.

daddy's not doin' such a good job of "keeping me off the pole". not even three years old and i'm already rocking high heels and skirts...

bowling!
yeah, the ball is a bit heavy, and i actually preferred to "kick" it. but with a little help, i got it down the alley... what a hoot to watch it, sometimes i got a lot of pins, and i almost beat daddy!

family time!
uncle greggie's home! uncle timmy came to visit! all at gegee and poppy's house! we spent the day sledding, and making snowmen, and just having fun! we made a snowman named "ruby" (yes, i named him) and he was SO tall i needed help just to put in his buttons and carrot nose.
