the shorelast week Gigi and Poppy brought me "down the shore". i said to someone at school that she brought me "down TO the shore", but these jersey folk corrected me and indicated that it's "down the shore". i guess it just shows how silly people are in this state...

As Bruce Springsteen notes "down the shore everything's alright" so Jersey girl if The Boss sings it that way, it's okay for you as well.
