pink boots
it's been a while since uncle greggie gave me these cowboy boots and hat... but now they fit, and it's time for me to rock them. daddy says this outfit isn't his favorite. and in 20 years if i'm still wearing it, we're gonna have to talk.

kunchy (country) music
in the car on the way to school, daddy and i listen to kunchy music. i like it a lot and we sing a long. "she thinks my tractor's sexy... it really turns her on.... she's always staring at me... while I'm chugging along..."

my new raincoat
grani did some more shopping, gabi got a new raincoat. thank god yesterday's weather was so junky i got to wear it! and again this morning... getting a lot of use out of my new ladybug raincoat!

that's ma name, don't wear it out. before going outside yesterday, daddy let me go through my "hat" basket and i picked out this one greggie gave me. then i grabbed my sunglasses (who needs sun?). made for quite an outfit...

play hard, sleep hard
i refused to nap one day, i didn't wanna miss out on beach time or play time. mom and dad were a little worried that it would catch up to me... and it did. on a little wagon ride with daddy i dozed off. slept for almost an hour while daddy walked me around...

poppi's hat
i played a ton with poppi and he let me play with his hat, i put it on, took it off, put it on again, then... yup, i took it off, then put it on again...

sebago part deux
i had so much fun swimming, as you've already seen... this is my new friend caroline and i in the water. look at my face to see how much fun i am having! caroline had been swimming for longer than me, she was older, but she taught me stuff and i liked wearing my water wings just like she does!

more camping, this time no pool, we were in the lake. ok lakes are sick cool. and so am i. they are like shallow in the beginning, and you have so much room to play in the shallow water. i was way awesome diving under water all the time and mommy and daddy had to pull me up... so they bought me these cool-a$$ orange wings to keep me afloat.. suh-weet.

the shore
last week Gigi and Poppy brought me "down the shore". i said to someone at school that she brought me "down TO the shore", but these jersey folk corrected me and indicated that it's "down the shore". i guess it just shows how silly people are in this state...

camping part deux
yup, now THIS is camping... my fold-out chair, my juicy box, sitting like WT in my diaper with no pants... ahh... now we're talkin'!

ok, this water park wasn't really "camping" per say. but it was sick cool... this place was crazy. this picture only shows like a third of the water park they had for me (ok, for all the kids...) at the campground. what a hoot! daddy and mommy and i played the whole time. on sunday we even went back one more time in the afternoon before leaving. mommy knew i was tired b/c i fell asleep in her arms right in the pool!

american idol
auntie allie got me this cool new toy that plays cool music when i match the animals in the barn... i felt the need to groove. i REALLY felt the need to groove, yo. you have to wait till the end here... the end is where i really funk it up.(unfortunately there's no sound... but it's still a kick-a$$ clip)

excitement!
we celebrated my birthday early! and i got cards and presents and stuff. it was so cool, it was the most exciting thing ever for everyone there. except uncle bob. as you can see from this picture, bob wasn't too enthralled with the action.

swimming
how awesome am i? i swim like such a champ. daddy and i played in the water so much, but i also worked on kicking the water and splashing my arms just to be even more awesome.

fishy
mommy and daddy and i went to "camp" this weekend. up in massachusetts... it's called wyman's pond. there's boats, and swimming and all kinds of things to do. we took so many pictures, i'm gonna try to upload some more this week, but this is one of my favorite pictures. grampy took me fishing with my new barbie fishing pole. we had to wait and be patient for almost two whole minutes on the dock while trying to catch a fishy, but we caught one!

daddy can we road trip to france?
i hear there's a little bike ride coming up. i hear it's beautiful this time of year. i can borrow this bike from nathaniel and we can climb alpe de huez together.. please? please?

garbage truck!
the early morning, eating breakfast, i hear the engine rumbling in the street... garbage truck! daddy garbage! i like trucks and the garbage truck is my favorite!

just chillin'
i love being outside, especially with mommy, and especially on the big comfy patio furniture. this was lazy sunday after daddy got back from his fathers day bike ride.

mommy and daddy keep spraying me with the hose... um, not anymore yo, i have learned to turn the tide...

summer food is great... loving ribs, loving corn. don't even think i've barely had a hot dog or burger yet, mommy keeps going nuts with ribs.

The Lilly Bloomed!

Mommy and I have been working hard in our gardens and all our hard work is paying off because everything is blooming and looking so pretty. This morning we woke up and the lilly bloomed overnight. I tried to close it but it wants to be open. So pretty.

that's me and jaden, we took off our shirts. well, jaden took his off, so i took mine off too. daddy's hoping i learn to put up more of a fight with boys before removing articles of clothing in the future...

after dinner, i went across the street to jaden and tayla's. we played ring-around-the-rosie all by ourselves...

paella party
mommy had a big paella party last night with a group of her old co-workers... um, they fed me turkey lunch meat, then ate paella and drank sangria. what a raw deal for gabi... come on, throw me a bone, ma. so for dinner tonight i had all kinds of spanish food for dinner. daddy get that camera out of my face! (please)

daddy said that uncle greggie's been doing a lot of rock climbing out in san francisco. i told daddy that maybe we could join him when we went to visit. daddy said that neither one of us was strong enough to do rock climbing. phooey.

when uncle greggie lived in san diego he bought me this special sun hat. it has an octopus on it and i love it. now that greggie is in san francisco, i hope he looks on my blog to see my pics. :-)

missing mommy

mommy left for chicago this morning. when i got up i put on her sweatshirt so i could still be close to her. i hope she comes home soon, i can't wait! (and notice how nice my smile is... better than cheese face, ay?)

my dad's the best. he bought a new seat for his old mountain bike all for me. last night he took it out and showed me... he showed me my sweet new helmet, and he showed me how the seat fits on his bike. then he explained to me that he still needed to actually mount the seat onto the bike and we couldn't go for a ride till tomorrow. what a freakin' tease....

burrito's
daddy explained the food groups to me. dairy, grains, fruits & vegetables, and burritos. i like the burrito group the best.

daddy's at it again... one evening in boston and all he bought me was this crappy shirt. :-)

cars
my first car ride... with my friend and neighbor jaden across the street. daddy was a little nervous... but it was SO MUCH FUN! I played with the radio while Jaden drove! Then we played my favorite "ring around the rosie!"

mommy warns me all the time about following daddy's lead. but i think daddy's the bestest. he got a new camelback for his adventure race this weekend and wore it home from work yesterday. so i wanted to wear my backpack too!

crocs
mommy got us new shoes, they are called crocs, whatever that means. i like mine because they are pink. mommy likes mine because they stay on my feet.

food friend
saturday night we went to visit some of mommy and daddy's friends. i didn't know what to expect, but andy really liked food. gabi likes food too. we ate, we drank and we were merry.

gardening
after daddy's race we came home and i helped mommy garden and plant things in the yard. it was so much fun, and i have all my own gardening tools.

race day
i didn't know what momy meant when she said we were going to watch daddy run a race. but it means i get to go to the lake!

Yup, that's me being a rock climber in my dress and mary janes. I might be a girlie-girl but I'm a tough cookie too! I scaled this thing like I owned it! Mommy and Daddy were shocked... and proud.

Last week Aunt Re Re spent all day Friday with me and we had so much fun. She brought flowers that we planted using my new gardening set and we had so much fun at the park. It was a beautiful day, finally! I love spending my special Friday with Aunt Re Re.

My Best Friend Maggie
Been a long-time-coming since we last got together, but finally this past weekend up in Plymouth we were able to hang out again. We had so much fun, and I got to play with all of Maggies toys!

Tea Party
I was ready to have my very first tea party, so i decided the most special guest would obviously be mommy. We traded a few heartfelt anecdotes over a nice chamomille. It was delightful.
